Welcome to Ebike Battery Manager. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how our application collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the app, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Our application requires certain device permissions to function correctly. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this data on external servers. All processing happens locally on your device.
Why we need it: On Android devices, accessing Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) hardware to scan for your eBike's Battery Management System (BMS) inherently requires Location permissions. Additionally, our app uses your device's active speed (via GPS) strictly to calculate real-time energy consumption and estimate your remaining battery range.
How it is protected: Your location and speed data are processed in real-time on your screen. We do not track your routes, we do not store your location history, and we do not send this data to the internet.
Why we need it: To scan, connect, and read battery health and telemetry directly from your eBike's BMS.
Why we need it: To save your custom "Bike Profiles" (custom names and Bluetooth MAC addresses) so the app can automatically reconnect to your specific eBike the next time you open it. This data never leaves your device.
We do not collect personal data. Therefore, we do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information or location data to outside parties, advertisement networks, or analytics companies. The app operates entirely offline except for basic OS-level functions.
Because your data (such as saved profiles and real-time telemetry) is stored solely on your personal device, it is protected by your device's built-in operating system security. Uninstalling the app or clearing the app's cache will permanently delete your saved eBike profiles.
Our app does not contain any content restricted to adults, nor does it knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
